Hi Rudy, Sorry if I'm making things more complicated ;) This is the Omax I have: http://www.microscopenet.com/omax-40x2500x-super-speed-usb3-14mp-digital-compound-trinocular-biological-microscope-p-10999.html?osCsid=qva8110sfpcg9bv339p0hfth85 And then I got the following extra: 1. Hey Rudi, I see now you haven't ordered your microscope yet, and I thought that I'd drop you a message quick to add my suggestions - which may save you some money ;) I agree with the guys that you'll be better off buying something decent from one of the members. Hi Rudi, welcome to the forum. Where in SA are you based? I'm in Northcliff Johannesburg. I started off in exactly the same position as you last year this time :) I started with an Omax scope - and as far as B/F are concerned they are pretty decent, specially considering the price. As you observed this mite, was it active and swiming...or was it already imobile/dead? I like these water mites. charlie guevara Thanks...

Using the 20x eyepiece, you stretch this image to 200 x 200 pixels - which will pixelate the image because the resolution doesn...
