Specimen With 1Watt LED

Here is a photo I took with my old Leitz of spores in plant material with a 1W star LED.. @200X... A very bad mount...

Did you use oblique illumination?

No, it was from the bottom.. Underneath...

My intention here was to show that a 1 watt LED was bright enough for me to use...

It certainly looks to me like a nice, obliquely illuminated image. I guess something (LED?) was not properly centered.

I am sure you are correct... I made no attempt at centering... I just stuck it under the condenser...
