Since I exceeded the amount of pictures I could post I thought a second posting would do.
The 1500x at twice the price was considered a semi-pro microscope, having better optics than either the 900x or 1200x
The 900x only had three eyepieces (5x,10x and 15x) to the 1200x with four eyepieces (5x,10x,15x and 20x). The 1200x had a semi mechanical stage, the 900x did not. Both shared the same four objectives, (5x,10x, 40x and 60x)
Lafayette offered two professional; medical microscopes that were ten times more expensive than the entry level microscopes.
