Filter Template

#1 Post by 75RR » Sat Nov 01, 2014 8:34 pm

Making up a new set of Darkfield Stops and GUF Filters (Gradient Universal Filter) in pdf to be printed on acetate.
Feel free to try them out. DF Stop Filters are 32mm diameter. Print at 100%

Darkfield Stops, which go from 5mm to 16mm in 1 mm steps are in pairs so they can be glued face to face.
Cut out GUFs and use as is.

Have added another pdf file, in this one the Darkfield Stops go from 14mm to 25mm in 1 mm steps.
Only two GUFs this time; they are longer and wider. Hopefully they will work a little better.

Have also updated the files to include the size on each filter for easy identification.
Numbers will be right-side-up when both halves are glued together, printed side to printed side.

Neat. How did you create these? Is it something that can be parameterized so i can get it working in my 34.5mm filter slot?

I have a python/gimp script that makes Rheinberg filters for me. I'm hoping it's something like that.

.
I used Adobe Illustrator. Don't think I have the original files anymore.

You might find this link useful as well: https://www.microbehunter.com/microscop ... =15&t=4499

Note: You will find several sellers on ebay providing 3D printed stops to fit different sized filter holders.
