#1 Post by Plasmid » Tue Aug 10, 2021 4:05 pm

Hi y'all this connector is for a leitz lamp, 100w 12 v halogen, gy 6.35 the plate seems to be cracked and the reason why the bulb isn't getting current. The back is labeled Thorn L1079, any Ideas on a replacement option for this?

Generic bi-pin sockets are available. The two screw locations might not match, but perhaps you could make an adapter plate?

This looks very similar : https://www.enrgtech.co.uk/product/lamp ... 908653/217

U.K. seller shown, but Stucchi probably distributes worldwide

Thank you all for the help, purchased a lamp holder, had to cut excess heat shielding so it would fit and install spacers to maintain the 67.7mm bulb insertion. The two prong airplane style connector worked perfectly.

You certainly did a good job with that.
