Rotating stage for Laborlux S

#1 Post by Gasman » Sun Aug 15, 2021 12:45 pm

Hi guys
Been imaging crystals lately and they are not always in the right postion on the slide so came up with this for my Laborlux S scope. Attaches to the x axis slider. Trying it both with the conveyor bearings and without, prefer without I think.
Its turned gently by thumb and the slide pushed or pulled in the top slot. Seems to work ok, designed in DesignSpark Mechanical - an excellent free cad package.

Very cool! Given what people ask for rotating stages this seems like a great idea.

Can you keep the focus centered?
