Hi, i got a green water sample from a local aquarium shop. This is the filamentous algae inside of it.Some of my friends called it spirogyra, It feels like spirogyra in macro, it is filamentous, but it doesn’t have that spiral-shaped chroloplast pattern when you look at with microscope. Are there spirogyra species without that spiral pattern? Then I thought it was cladophora but it is not branched like it and then i thought it is oedophonium, but i did not observe any puffy parts. Most similar genus i found is Microspora, but i can't be sure. What do you think?

Which specie is this filamentous algae?
