Well, since you asked... It is in the family Colepidae, but is not necessarily Coleps. The old genus Coleps has been split, and identification now requires a close view of the calcified armour & spines, to rule out Nolandia, Reticoleps, Pinacocoleps, etc. We don't see enough detail, here, for ID to genus.

Fascinating, there really are a lot of split genus these days. Good to know, thank you!It is in the family Colepidae, but is not necessarily Coleps.
