Mysteries from the duckpond

I ventured out to get some totally new samples today, I found a really good bunch of things in my first drop from a local duckpond.

guesses
1) Euglenoid
2)tardigrade
3)some kind of ciliate
4) I honestly have no clue, looks like an anenome

1. A ciliate called Spirostomum
2. Tardigrade
3. Don't know
4. A ciliate from the Chilodonellidae family

There was only 4 things :D

That's so wild that the worm like creature is unicellular, there were a few approaching half a mm in length.

And I finally found my first tardigrade.

I'll make a longer video of the last one, really cool looking things and they can move quite fast

No sorry I have had another look at the tardigrade and it's not I think it's a rotifer it has a dorsal antenna the problem is for some reason I cannot enlarge the video so it's pretty small on my monitor.

Yup, a rotifer. It's Taphrocampa, I believe...kind of an animated concertina. :D The last thing is Synura.
