Re: Some Protozoans
1. A centrohelid (true heliozoan, with stiff radial axopodia and an external layer of scales and spicules, or periplast)
2. One of the few easily-identified hypotrich ciliates, Holosticha pullaster.
3. The euplotid ciliate Aspidisca.
4. Something dead
5. A pleurostomatid ciliate, probably Litonotus crystallinus
6. A ciliate, probably Aspidisca again (we don't see it very clearly)
7. A sessile peritrich ciliate (Epistylis, Vorticella, etc.) that has come loose from its stalk.
8. the hypotrich ciliate Stylonychia
9. Another centrohelid heliozoan.
10. Aspidisca at the top, a sessile peritrich at the bottom
