Some sort of larvae arranged in a tubular shape?

Hi!

I found them attached to a wall underwater, in a pond. I'm guessing it may be an egg laying that has hatched?

Hi Albert,
I think what you have there may well be a clutch of midge eggs.

Really cool photos AlbertOliver and structurally very interesting-it’s definitely got that “maternity ward” look to it!
