Re: Unidentified Ciliate
Beautiful video. I'm quite sure it's a bryophyllid (Apobryophyllum, Bryophyllum, etc.). The very long oral bulge, packed with extrusomes is characteristic of that group, and we can just make out some nodules of a moniliform or scattered macronucleus. The overall appearance suggests Bryophyllum loxophylliforme Kahl 1931, but there are other members of the family that have a similar look. Was the habitat influenced by moss or soil, by any chance? Size of the creature?

You're so awesome.
Yes, It's from wet moss.
It's about 150um~ 160um length and 50um ~ 60um width.

Re: Unidentified Ciliate
OK, that's exactly the right size for Bryophyllum loxophylliforme, the type species of genus Bryophyllum. The habitat is typical, as the name suggests (Bryo = moss, phyllum = leaf...so, a leaf-like moss ciliate). To be absolutely sure, you'd want to get a clear view of the brosse, a brushlike structure of short cilia on one surface of the cell, near the dorsal edge (the shape of this structure differs in other bryophyllid genera, such as Apobryophyllum).

Thank you so much Bruce.
