My first find!

Took delivery yesterday of a swift 350 something - dual eye piece and 5mb camera. Camera isn't great - that's a future problem. I grabbed handful of compost and dropped it on a slide, shook off most of it and looked at the rest - and wow - I am hooked. But....any idea what this is? I am hoping this is the first of many - literally a whole different world out there now to explore

great pics and nice find!! looks like some an arthropod, maybe a mite? i cant help you much besides that, but i hope you identify your friend there!
