Could anyone please help me identify this?
They seem to move around by crawling around spirogyra algae

Looks like algae. If it moves it's cyanobacteria.

Hi ms122,
They look something like Spirotrich however they appear too small and too transiently for any one but a true expert to identify.

The shape and behaviour are consistent with Aspidisca (a very common euplotid ciliate). However, we don't see enough detail for a reliable identification. For better contrast, try closing the condenser diaphragm a bit more.
