ID questions

#1 Post by Sanderguy777 » Fri Mar 04, 2022 4:09 am

First, what are these things? I found them both in the water from a fish tank and I think the photos were taken at 100x for both hair algae ones (with the blob with the saw "mouth") and the zoomed out "bug" (tardigrade?), and 400x for the zoomed in one.
Second, where do I look for ID info outside of this forum (so I can get faster answers without having to bother you all)?
Third, what do I do to be able to post photos that don't look like they came out of minecraft? (i have a 24MP camera, so these are really sad to look at LOL)

The first 2 photos show a bdelloid rotifer, the creature in the other photos looks like a dust mite that fell in the water.
