Previously I only had a darkfield filter for 20x. So did some DIY for 40x (that needs a bit more perfectioning). Then I noticed these tiny strings (much more noticeable than in brightfield).
Are these bacteria?
Love the middle one especially; the movement is reminiscent of that old-school snake game.
This is 40x objective with 10x eyepiece so that would make that small one what... 10μm in length?
