A wineglass shaped critter

Does anyone know what this interesting thing is, also from Fort Popham area on the Kennebec River, Maine?

Edit: I think it's brachionus.

A rotifer, but not Brachionus. This is Keratella cochlearis. :)

It does look just like the online pics of Keratella cochlearis. I am happy to know what this is as I hadn't seen one in our water samples before.
