Birdhouse Bug

#1 Post by GerryR » Fri Jun 24, 2022 1:38 pm

Cleaning our Bluebird house after the last hatch left and found literally thousands of these bugs all over the outside of the house. I used a small drop of oil to wet a small stick and picked up a couple of these critters and put them on a slide. I then held my camera over the eyepiece and got this picture. Microscope is AO Sixty with picture taken with 10x objective. Nothing fancy, but I have no idea what the "bug" is; any help?

There is a lot of bugs I hate.
I would spray the whole bird house down with Fantastic brand cleaner!
