chessboard-like microbe

#1 Post by dtrinh » Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:52 pm

Hi all,
Could someone please help me name this microbe? The bright ones like many cars parked nearby each other.
Thank you!

I saved this PDF off the web. It is a huge 800 plus MB file so takes like 4 minutes to load on my high speed internet. You can download it.
If you want to view it on the cloud do NOT choose OPEN. Just wait is all.

Anyhow page 19 is the checkerboard bacteria.

UPDATE- further quote links will not work. I was at my OneDrive and opened Info, change permissions and blew out anyone accessing my Public folder so I have to redo ALL links now !

That is an amazing resource! Does anyone know if there is a North American (even Canadian) equivalent?

Both men spend a lot of years visiting some small waters in Germany and determining every specimen they could find.

Most protists can be found all over the world.
