Similar to the previous post, yet they look morphological a bit different. Found in fresh water source. Any ideas? (Time lapse fyi)

Re: Unknown conjugating microbe
Magnification is pretty low, so the most I can say is that they are heterotrophic (non-photosynthetic) flagellates of some kind. Unfortunately, that description spans the entire eukaryote tree of life (including the last common ancestor of all complex cells!). I'm not sure the joined pair is conjugating, but that is possible. They could also be in the final stage of division, or simply entangled (many flagellates clump together to form colonial or quasi-colonial clusters).

Re: Unknown conjugating microbe
The reason I was thinking conjugation was because there seem to be a couple more attracted to one of the pairs scent but aren't attracted to each others. I was thinking flagelates too! Thanks for the help! I have a better scope coming tmrw.
