Planapo 63x/1.4, DIC, 75µm length, stacked in Photoshop, Marine sample, Alboran Sea
Both images are of the same diatom, first image consists of top 4 images (this is to confirm it is an Amphora), the second has 34.
So here I am again, hoping to get past an sp.
DIATOMEAS PLANCTÓNICAS DEL LITORAL DE ANDALUCÍA (ESPAÑA):
https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... 3/download
has Amphora arenicola, Amphora decussata, Amphora cymbifera and Amphora ostrearia registered for the area, though they do not claim there are not others.
I am unable to find either clear images nor descriptions that will allow me to propose an ID. Hoping someone with more experience can suggest something.
