Ciliate ID request

This is the first time I've seen this particular ciliate. It is from the bottom of my pond aquarium. I'd be grateful for any ID of it. Aside from the caudal cirri, I cant recognize any specific features. The first view is at 20x with a 40x view at the 20s mark. It was moving pretty fast to keep up with.
Thanks !

As in you would like the species of paramecium?

Thank you. Do you think that is a Paramecium ?

It is not Paramecium. Cirri are visible at the posterior, as you have noted (they could be caudal cirri, or long dangling transverse ones). We catch brief glimpses of an adoral zone of membranelles (AZM). It is not "question-mark shaped," as in most hypotrichs, but seems to be in the "gonostomatid" pattern (a straight line along the margin of the cell):

Macronucleus is a chain, with multiple nodules.

The cell shape is very distinctive, and rather odd. I don't recognize it! Perhaps a gonostomatid of some kind? (Gonostomum, Paragonostomum, Urosoma, etc.) At the moment, I can't confidently identify it below subclass, Hypotrichia.

Thank God it wasn't a nematode. I would not have lived it down.

Thank you Bruce ! I originally suspected a Hypotrich and was looking for, but could not detect an AZM, thank you for pointing it out. An ID of hypotrich is certainly enough for my needs.

Haha-- I appreciate your attempt, nonetheless :)
