Adding a motor to my homemade macro bench

Hello everyone,

I'm sharing with you an adding of an motor to my homemade macro bench.
So, no need to move to turn the micrometric wheel
I can stay quietly in front of the screens and better “monitor” the progress of the different focal points and also make the closest and furthest sharp focus much more easily.

There's a lot of thinking that goes into building these automated stacking contraptions. What do you plan to do with it?

Hello and thank you for your feedback,

In fact, I neglected to explain how it works, sorry.
It is not an automatic system because as you said, it is much more complicated but it is a simple manual motorization system.

I use it like this: I focus on the point closest to the object using the engine and relying on the screen then i press the button on the remote control for 1 second and I take a photo and so on until get the focus farthest from the object.
Then comes the stacking of the multiple photos thus obtained.
