Do you mean what clamps the carrier post at the tilt you want: at the top end of the silver column holding the microscope in the following picture?

Hmmm. Not only have I answered your question with a question, I found a photograph that manages to hide the adjustable clamp lever you may be asking about.

Thank you but no, I mean on the bottom of the vertical column (holding the dual arm), under the very heavy white metal part on your picture....

Sorry my first ask was not very clear!

I found four ISO 4762 M8x70mm, blackened steel, hexagon socket head cap screws. I believe the screws are in blind, threaded holes.

This would be for the older, more massive variant (with a 50mm rear post) of the stand pictured above.

Thank you, but I wonder if the more recent system (with 25mm/30mm diameter column) as in the picture, has the same system?

From the looks of it, I would think the 25/30mm takes smaller, top side screws.

If it helps the equivalent system from Diagnostic Instruments holds the column onto the base with one giant bolt through the bottom.

Hello,
I've got the answer, having seen one of this Wild stand: only three M5 blackened steel, hexagon socket head cap screws
