The best demonstration of image formation by a lens that I've ever seen in youtube:



Its insanely cool that the author of the video etched on chromium coated glass the patterns that he used for all the experiments!

Just thought others here might enjoy this video too.

Huygens Optics does a lot of really cool stuff on that channel, I couldn't recommend his channel more.
