I would like to buy an Olympus LWD M Plan 20x NA 0.40 WD=4.60mm. Finite 210mm tube length. Or a Nikon equivalent. Shipped to USA 77030. PM me your offer, please.
I picked up its bigger brother, the LWD M Plan 40x NA 0.55 WD=3.42mm for $30 at eBay and like it quite a bit.
Wanted: Olympus or Nikon LWD M Plan 20x 210TL

FWIW, Akashi metallurgical lenses are 210mm and (in my experience of a 40x) of both good Japanese quality and of LWD. Might find one cheaper than the Olympus equivalent??
Re: Wanted: Olympus LWD M Plan 20x 210TL
Thank you. I guess if I go with Akashi objective, I would need Akashi compensating eyepiece too. I specify Olympus, as I have Olympus WK10x eyepieces.
Nikon shorties would work too, as I also have HLW10x eyepieces.

There are Unitron and Tiyoda too. But most of them do not say LWD on shell, which means they do not have LWD, I assume? I need WD of 4mm or more.
Unitron was associated with Nikon previously. I don't know if that means they use similar eyepiece compensation?

Unitron made a lot of toolmaker's scopes, which tend to have longer working distances.

Yes, I have Unitron's 3x measuring objective (170TL, NA 0.1) and like it very much. It WD is quite long for the NA.
Minimal CA or field curvature. And I paid only $10 for it!
The thing is, I really need to make sure the WD spec for M20x. I could not find Unicron's M20x specifications. Usually, a M20x is not cheap and WD is less than 3mm.
