I just sold one for 500 usd, I think the 200ish dollar sold price on eBay was an anomaly. You might be waiting for a while at that price point (or you might not, that kind of deal is very luck dependent).
I have one in parts condition which might be fixable (the lenses look OK but the image it gave wasn't very good) which you could have for a lot less. The other parts one I had was successfully fixed by the buyer, but it only had a single lens element out of place and the issue was obvious.

Thing is I want to use it with nikon cfn lenses via direct projection, as a tele converter sort-of

I am not sure it will work ok though so I do not want to invest much on it, so I rather wait for an oportunity to come.

I do not mind if the PH works, us the magnifier I am interested in.

Maybe this could work for you then?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/143701143746

I do think, however, that a teleconverter would be a better solution for you.

Thanks, I have been following that one for a while hoping price would go a bit lower, he has 4 of them. I may send an offer

The problem with the TC is I can not use with my microscope, let me explain (this sketch may help understand it):
My adaptation phototube length is 11mm long and sony nex sensor flange distance is 18mm, total 29mm; my 1.5X teleconverter is nikon F mount (46.5mm flange distance). In order for it to work properly I would need to put it 17.5mm inside the trinocular head
Only native Sony FE 1.4X TC is 500$ plus...

Right, I forgot about that. Yes, using the Nikon TC will be difficult.

I don't think the demand for those 1.25x risers is big, they're really not that useful for most of us. Always worth asking what he's willing to sell them for.
