Slider Set Identification

Have a problem finding shops that sell specific materials? Ask here. Are you looking for microscope parts? Do you have anything to offer for sale? Note: this is not a section for external companies to advertise their products.

Slider Set Identification

#1 Post by houstontx » Sat Jul 10, 2021 10:54 pm

Hi please see attached, does anyone know what these sliders are for? I'm trying to figure out if I can use these or sell them... They have small copper discs with various size pinholes and slits in them. My guess is they fit into an olympus BH2 series simple polarizer, where the tint plate would slide into. But they look earlier vintage than that era.

Thanks

I’ve nener seen the like of them before … but the one at the bottom of your photo is presumably for ‘wavelength calibration’

… very curious
