Very nice! There may be a slight problem though. The various Leitz models (I am a very proud ex-owner of a magnificent Orthoplan and SM-LUX) each require a different supplemental-lens (K4 and K1 possibly as I remember, I have a past post somewhere on this forum viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6102&p=54966&hilit= ... lan#p54966 of the details) to be inserted into the base of the condenser (600 series) body to enable correct focal-distance to the field diaphragm to enable Kohler illumination. This will mean that your inserts will not fit as shown, being the size to fit where said lenses go, when they are not present. You may need also to consider the depth into the base you are able to go when the correct supplemental lens is fitted, as the actual lens is closer to the lower edge of the condenser's base, limiting the vertical 'socket' in depth to receive your adapter/s.

Here you see the possible problem, the supplemental 'K4' (as used for the Leitz Orthoplan) leaves no room for your adapter to slide into the condenser's base...

As part of a lot of parts that came my way from Leitz Canada around 1990, there was a condenser diaphragm body. It takes a female thread on condenser, has an iris diaphragm and swing out filter holder. Between those two essential elements though, are two stacked filter slots, with spring clips on either side to receive those " lollipop" filters. They fit into the spring clips snug, almost snap in. Some of those came in the lot. Most were transmitted fluorescence filters.
The entire filter gang rotates, so presumably part of the application for this condenser was pol.
There is no part # , just Leitz Wetzlar Germany.

Thanks, good, so foam tabs shall be.
I have a Leitz #400 condenser, and really liked your idea to put the darkfield stops up inside, near the original iris. Why not the lollipops? Too difficult to change, or not so critical?

You are right, near the original iris is the best location. Lollipops are great for Pol, retarders, etc.

If can be of inspiration, here a rather laborious, machined darkfield stop holder for Olympus, from the later resourceful Ted Clarke
