Over the years I have repeatedly rehydrated dried up slides, some of which sat for a long time. Any encysted rotifers popped up in no time. One had been down behind the leg of a table and the wall for 1/2 a century I think. Maybe a little less. The rotifers were wearing paisley shirts, though.
The principal of cryptobiosis is what was so alarming about the failed Israeli moon landing having dumped a bunch pond bears on the moon. What is more alarming is that some of them were hybrids with Benjamin Netanyahu. Ready set go. Settlements on the moon too. Not just any old invasive species.

When our 18+ year old fridge went out we had to act fast. Best Buy had a good selection on the sales floor and in-stock, which was important. This LG is unique looking as it appears the freezer is on the bottom when it is actually a side by side. Because the ice maker is in the door there is a lot more room in the freezer. There are only 2 of us, so the ice production is fine for us. If you have a big family, you might need additional ice. I love the LED lights inside! They make it so much easier to locate food quickly.

I really like this compared the the whirlpool model I had previously. I feel it is more durable and less issues so far. The only feature that is strange is the ice and water comes out of the same area hole and you have to press the front of it to switch from water or ice or crushed ice instead of the usual two separate areas not requiring a setting change so that took some getting used to. It does have a lot of space, but I don’t feel the ice machine space saver was worth the change of how the water and ice comes out if that makes sense...

I have a Samsung side by side but it's only incandescent bulb type.
It's given my the inspiration I needed to order some equivalent bayonet LED's so the contents will also look cooler.

Events in the layers of permafrost?
Core samples are aged by depth.
Carbon dating material in the layer things are frozen suggests they are from that time.
Other events that leave traces such as volcanic dust in layers from known dates help.
I'm too old to start dating anything so it's a best guess only.
