I wanted one of these SO bad for years. New they were around $2000 depending on configuration. Looking at the photos, it looks to me that the lamp house is made out of plastic. I'll bet that doesn't last long under the heat of the halogen lamp.
I think I got a much better deal with my big Biolam L-2-2.
If anyone is considering this Laboroscope, I think you would be much better off with a used Nikon or Olympus for about the same money.

According to the specs, the illumination is 6v/25w. Should be alright even if it is plastic.
