Rotifer enrichment?

Has anyone had any success with some sort of enrichment culture for fresh-water rotifers, using a method that can easily be done at home? There are a number of scientific articles on the topic (example), but most seem to be quite complex (e.g. requiring a separate algae culture) and/or are culturing sea water rotifers.
