I've often thought,
when looking at outrageous things
that needn't look the way they do,
where does this thing come from?
If I woke from death what would I see?

It took a life assigned from a catalogue
compiled beyond visions,
growing comfortable in a bath of
reality. I may have forgot what I was,
and that may be birth.

Sometimes I almost see it,
loosely hanging in a dream
I know I should ignore, what it is
I fear, what mystifies,
what originates.
