Glycerin in the message system?

Does anyone know, why p.m.'s sent through this forum are so slow to be actually sent? I've had one sitting in the outbox now, for 4 days and it seems that the last few I sent were stalled for days at least. Possibly too much flow?

If it is the same system as in some other forums, the PM will sit in the outbox until the recipient opens it within the forum environment.

^ Most likely what Alex said. I have seen that difference too.

So, it has actually been sent but hasn't been received, yet. The categories should say, sent and received; not outbox and sent. Outbox, makes it sound like it is in a queue waiting to be actually sent.
