Wandering Voices

Our poets are
leading us to prophecy once again.
We are speaking in riddles
that course through our minds
carrying away dust.

It's been an epoch
since that was true.
We are are tiring of straight-forward fact.
We are once again

wanting our truth to include some slipping
and some questions without answers.
The simple truth
is starting to tire us
and lead us to stray.
