I may take one out,
take one for tonight.
I have a library of sadness.
And sometimes I'm
in the mood.

From my little space
very close to
the edge of memory
I may open the case
and turn the music up.

It doesn't comfort me
but it feeds the silence
and generates dreams,
adds to the dreams,
replaces time.

A day
filled with dreams
swishes of cloth,
I imagine the touch.
I am a specialist
in the feeling of cloth.
