On my PZO MPI-3 interference head, the gray wheel to rotate the polarizer seems to be stuck, I also tried to look at my monitor through it and rotate the entire thing and unlike with regular polarizers nothing changes. I don't think that the person who sold it to me disassembled it and took out the polarizer or something but IDK what to do...
I still haven't been able to test the KPI-2 and MPI-3 because the KIP-2 doesn't fit correctly into my current microscope, so I will be able to test in a few weeks
