New scope Olympus with fluorite objectives

#1 Post by MicroscopyUniverse » Mon Nov 29, 2021 3:39 pm

Hi all,

I've finally received my new scope. It is a very nice 'machine' with quality optics:

* Trinocular + Phototube + c-mount adapter
* 10x eyepieces
* Abbe 1.25 condenser
* 6 Objectives 4x 10x 20x 40x 60x (dry!) and 100x oil, all of them are UplanFl (fluorite)

It has an amazing image quality with good ergonomics and a true "like new" working condition.

I've bought it to a seller at a good price.
The decision for choice one was very difficult because this seller has others very interesting scopes
of the main brands.

Finally, I tried this one and I am very happy with it.

Regards

That will be hard to outgrow. You must be very happy. You will find those super quality low power objectives so useful; well, any fluorite objective for that matter.

I will definitely be picking one of these up some day. I love the boxy look of the BX40

Congratulations!

Always worthwhile trying a microscope first if possible - best way to make sure one is happy with a purchase

Sure 75RR.

In my case, I went to seller location to try and test it before any purchase.
Mechanics, optics, electronics, ...
In this way, when possible, we can be sure what we are purchasing.

In my case, I wanted to also verify that all objectives were fluorite optics because the microscope whole price
was good.
