I'm excited for you. New stuff always brings renewed innovation and ideas. I've had my 720q for about a month now and an still making accessories for it. My brother says that if you stop learning or stop trying, you begin to die.
Thanks. However, without wishing to sound negative, we all die anyway at some point! Still, I'll try and keep going for now :)

Have unpacked the T680 but ran into a problem... The power supply is for 110V even though the spec on Ebay says 110/220V CE cert. It's not a huge problem as I can get a converter. However, I've dropped them a line to see what they say first. It's also supplied with a spare fuse although there is no external fuse holder. Other than that, everything else seems ok.

I decided to have a squiz inside. There are 4 screws which hold the metal base plate in place but I couldn't unscrew them! Needs some extra elbow grease.. However, the plastic back plate came undone easily :) The power supply is in two parts - seems rather complicated for just a 6V bulb! Anyway, there's a switching module which has a 110-220V slide selector. So it looks like if I just change the position of it, it should be ok:

I might check with Amscope first else I'll just try it!
Alternatively I could bypass the internal PSU and just power the current 6v/20W bulb from a mains 3V-24V variable PSU that I have. That would then let me use 6V or 12V, 20W or 30W bulbs, or even LED illumination 8-)
