I put a videos my two microscopes up in my OneDrive cloud.
Nikon S CB and Olympus BHC
The Olympus phase contrast microscope has Nikon eye pieces which I wouldn't think is the problem but when I adjust the width my eyes never can see both views.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Also does anyone know (I know I could web search but) know what DLL and PL objectives are?
Also Can anyone BRIEFLY explain the overall phase contrast rotating turret?

Views thru those Nikon objectives in the Nikon S should look better using a Nikon eye piece that is in your Olympus
than with that earlier Nikon eyepiece, which probably came with the S and matched older Nikon objectives.
At least on newer Nikon stages, slack in XY controls can be cured by adjusting those pinion gears closer to racks.

The XY slide moving isn't bad but the Olympus just seemed to really be sweet, however I will take a further look and maybe can be better.
Yes I noted the Nikon eye pieces I have in the Olympus have their own focus knob. So when they are on Olympus it is double focus adjustments on the eye pieces.
I have a box in the attic of parts which include a few heads and eye pieces etc... Maybe even the Olympus ones are in there.
P.S. What I get looking into the microscope is more detailed than I get with my AmScope 5 Mega pixel camera and for the longest time I could not film the rotifer's spinners on their heads. In the software the trick was to have lower resolution and that got me somewhat there.

PLAN: These objectives produce an image which is in focus from edge to edge. They are used for photographic work and are more expensive.
160: This represents the standard tube length of 160mm. Objectives with this standard are interchangeable between manufacturers.
PL or NH: These are designation of objectives used for phase contrast microscopy. A PL (positive low) objective produces an image of a specimen which is darker than the background, a NH (negative high) objective produces an image which is brighter than the background.
Not on that page-
DLL (Dark Lower Contrast) - Similar to the DL objective, the DLL series allows better images in brightfield and is often used as a "universal" objective in microscope systems that utilize multiple illumination modes such as fluorescence, DIC, brightfield, and darkfield.
I think I got the PL and the DLL on a Nikon Inverted microscope that was "Parts Only" and when I further got involved it was "less parts only" and I figured I'd shove them on the Olympus Phase Contrast microscope which has a 5 objective turret and was missing a few lenses.

In my Olympus-
Nikon DLL 10
The following 3 objectives came with the microscope-

Olympus PL 20 Yellow Not green
Olympus PL 40 Green NOT blue
I knew it was funny to have the orange for a 10X instead of yellow but I couldn't see the others until I started using it more and looking.

An ocular pair typically has one that can be tweaked so that both eyes can see in focus views at the same time.
This helps folks that need different corrections e.g. in their eyeglass lenses
and also relieves eye piece manufacturers from needing to make identically matched pairs.

This is what I did-
I took both newer adjustable Nikon eye pieces out of the Olympus and put two OLD style non adjustable in (microscope still has adjustment under eye pieces)
and I can see one field now with both eyes, however have to do the one eye to see the centering arrow in the one.
So the problem is in the eye pieces that were on there and not further down inside the microscope.
I'll have to check (tomorrow) if the newer Nikon eye pieces work okay in the Nikon S microscope.
If not it is okay I have extra eye pieces.

Mom used to say: "The longest journey starts with a single wrong turn."
(A long story goes with that, about Dad's doomed 'short cuts'..)
Nearly everyone has a dominant eye, and both eyes have blind spots;
perhaps swapping oculars will cause that arrow to appear for you.
I have esotropia, wear eyeglasses with strong prism
and only rarely enjoy binocular views when tired.
My main microscope usually has a phase telescope, instead of matching eyepiece,
installed for adjusting condenser aperture.

I always look with my camera AmScope one. In case I see something good I want to get it on "film."
