I've made an offer on a nikon TMS inverted phase scope. This particular scope comes with one low power objective and three phase objectives: 10x, 20x, 40x. The phase objectives are marked Ph1, Ph2 and Ph3. However, the phase slider only has three slots, and the middle one is clear, so it's hard to see how it could be used with three different phase objectives. The seller doesn't know enough to answer this question, so I'm hoping someone here does.
All I have are pictures of the scope and the objectives, but it's pretty clear from the pictures that there isn't room on the slider for Ph1, Ph2, Ph3 and clear. Also, I checked other scopes of this type on the internet, and based on their pictures the sliders are pretty much the same.
The scope is a good price, so I'm willing to take a chance, but it would be nice to get this question answered.
Phase slider for Nikon TMS inverted scope?
Re: Phase slider for Nikon TMS inverted scope?
The 10x and 20X can use the same position on the slider that PH1/Ph2.
