My Digital Microscope is not Loading

I have a typical digital microscope. It used to be plug and play. However, I have had to change drivers for my compound microscope software and the digital microscope no longer works. I unplug the compound microscope camera, plug in the digital microscope camera but I can't get any software to work. I did install separate software for the digi scope, but it doesn't work. The software disregards the digital microscope and just shows the camera from the computer. This is a new problem that came about after I had a computer crisis because I had a software piracy. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Software and driver installation are not the same.
If you still have the installation folder for that digital microscope,
you could go into Windows' Device Manager, find that digital microscope,
right-click and

Code: Select all

Uninstall device
...then

Code: Select all

Action->Scan for hardware changes
...then point to the installation folder for device driver.

Thanks. The microscope worked for years. Then I I had a stroke and seemed to have a problem with everything including my body. Since I have been peeling away the non-essential. That may include the digital microscopes. I am gonna try once more to get it working.
