Upgraded to an Olympus CX-41RF, with photo tube and 5th objective. Looking to further upgrade to Phase Contrast. Looking for help in that regard.

It's a great microscope, it is fully compatible with Olympus UIS/UIS2 optics, so you can mount any infinity-corrected Olympus objective and any head from BX series, and enjoy the best image quality and ergonomics.

I believe the CX will require a different phase condenser than BX models. Someone who has a CX might comment.

As Zodiac says, the objectives and heads are compatible. The UPlan Fl phase objectives are excellent and the Plan Achros very good.

I did not try phase contrast on CX, but there is a Phase-contrast condenser CX-PCD, or Simple phase contrast attachments CX-PH1, 2, 3 for the standard Abbe condenser. All of them are hard to find on the used market.
