Love the title "A Few ..." do you have a round number?
Amazing collection of microscopes in what looks and am sure individually are, in pristine condition.
I take it they are not shelf queens, so you must drive them round the block - so to speak - from time to time?

Thank you all!

Yes, the Few which I use regularly. I don't have a round number of how many I have, just a Few hundred, but only 8-12 which I use regularly. The rest are shelf queen restorations of 19th and early 20th century microscopes.

A few hundred  :o

How did you manage the WAF factor?

Wife Acceptance Factor, Wife Approval Factor, or Wife Appeal Factor[1] (WAF), are design elements that increase the likelihood a wife will approve the purchase of expensive consumer electronics products

You are a fortunate man to be surrounded by such wonderful machines. Thanks for sharing.
In love with the Standard WL in the second image. I had thought they were all black.

Thank you Charles, for the elegant systems you shared with us. I have a soft spot for that curvacious black enamel stand which is on the cat walk near the end of this spectacular exhibit.

The forms of these stands seem to have an organic theme...I'd love to hear the 'click' of an objective being brought to position on all those turrents. all the best, charlie guevara/ finger lakes,US
