Thoughts on Celestron CM2000CF ?

#1 Post by Mr Galasphere » Thu Dec 24, 2020 12:14 am

Hi,

I'm considering purchasing a Celestron CM2000CF as a beginner scope.
https://www.celestron.com/products/cele ... s-cm2000cf

Has some good features like Abbe condenser and a mechanical stage. The new CF model I believe has LED illumination instead of halogen. Price is a bit under $200.

I'm under no illusions about 2000x being a useful magnification.

Any thoughts on this microscope would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have the same one but with the binocular head and I really like it. It's a good quality microscope. :D
If I can't see it with my microscope, it ain't worth looking at. :D

Thanks Steve, that's good to hear.
Does yours have LED or halogen illumination?
