resource about chemicals and general safety
Maybe it is a bit too broad but is there a book/resource summarizing primary chemicals used in microscopy and both these chemicals related or other safety topics ? I am asking particularly for cleaning/sterilization, slide preparation, permanent mounting etc. but I also dont know naturally what I dont know so a broad resource giving a reasonably detailed information would be nice.

I look to MSDSs but I am looking for sth like a text book I think, explaining the reasons a bit why a certain thing or method is or has to be used.
