Canon Eos Rp question

hi,

I"m awaiting my first hobby telescope i ordered. While waiting i was wondering i have an Canon RP digital camera. What would i need to be able to take photo's/videos with the camera on the microscope ?

It depends on what microscope you have or get.

If it is one of the major makers' cameras from the end of the film era, you'd adapt the optics they used for those full frame cameras. Generally speaking, whatever microscope you use, it will be easiest to adapt with a trinocular head.

it's a simple microscope (mono) 4x 10x 40x objectives with a 45° head

Simplest approach would be to support the camera above an eyepiece. You might search for "afocal" microphotography.
