#1 Post by Edmaximus » Thu Jan 13, 2022 4:50 am

Hi good microbehunters
My late husband owned two microscopes, photos attached [hopefully!]
Pls could some one give me a little info on the Bausch microscope
And what model is the Lomo Biolam as I think its in cyrillic
And what should I sell them for; both appear in good working order
Many thanks in advance
Claire

The fidst one is a bausch and lomb academic stereo zoom (asz series). It's a basic student stereo scope, a good sturdy intro tool with decent optics. They're not worth a ton, maybe 100 bucks on a good day on eBay but probably a bit less depending on which exact model it is.

That B&L is the slightly nicer one with built in light and the zoom. I got one of those no light and fixed for $15. This one might sell for $100. The big selling point is that they are very rugged and simple-- you could let a whole cub scout den at it without worry.

The Biolam is a great classic scope. I would bet you could get $200 for it if you were patient.
