Hi,
I got a compound microscope a couple of days ago, loving it!
I find myself trying to identify what I'm looking at, especially the microrganisms that move around (rotifers, ciliates etc.). I haven't been able to find a good online resource or app. Something a bit like this, but more comprehensive? https://www.msnucleus.org/watersheds/mi ... ankton.pdf
Any site/app you could point me towards?
Online resource to help ID?
Re: Online resource to help ID?
Hi and welcome to the sight.
You came to the right place for help, if they don't know it they will point you to the right place. I get most of my information here or on youtube. I do get books on Kindle. I like that PDF file that you attached it will be helpful for me.

A good place to start: the pond life identification kit by Wim van Egmond

Thanks for the replies ! Will use that link and come back to the forum when I can't figure it out on my own.
