Orange flatworms

#1 Post by Judge » Tue Oct 04, 2022 12:07 am

I have specimens from a fresh water pond. (Nematodes, Rotifers, Water mites, etc.). There are also a few flat worms that are orange. It might be from what they ate. Does anyone have an explanation?
Thanks

Last year we found this fella during a high school microscopy workshop. Seems like a pigment to me...
